Inn at Happy Adventure Upper Cove

Upper Cove is the large room overlooking both the harbour and Bonavista Bay. Upper Cove is the top most sheltered harbour of Happy Adventure and it is here with the fully enclosed part called “the Bottom” where Happy Adventure was believed to get its name.

In the 1600′s Pirate Peter Easton is believed to take refuge in this fully protected cove and after leaving was to comment on the most happy adventure that he had. His ship also carried the same name.
